Designer Doorware's security division is helping to upgrade school alarm systems across 1400 Victorian schools by switching them from fixed phone lines to Telstra’s 3G network.
Matnick Security Services (MSS) is installing UHS transmission devices to connect school alarm systems to Telstra's wireless network as part of a multi-million, federally funded government initiative. The project will result in significant cost savings while increasing the integrity of the security systems.
“Winning this contract reflects the strength of our service and expertise to efficiently deliver security solutions that reduce risk and increase ease of use,” said Brendan Morter, Managing Director. MSS has a long-standing relationship with the Department of Education and works extensively to install electronic surveillance including as many as 50 security cameras and digital recorders that utilise IP technology and existing IT networks.
